RAPID Scholars Get-Together in Kinnaird College

Lahore, November 23, 2024 – Thirty John-Ivy Azariah Scholarship recipients gathered for a year-end Christmas celebration at Kinnaird College for Women's Haladia Hall. Despite road closures due to political unrest, the event saw an overwhelming turnout.


The gathering aimed to foster connections among scholars and provide an opportunity to meet Rapid Charity's leadership. The event began with carol singing led by Rapid scholars Shiraz Kaleem and Susana.


Bishop Samuel Robert Azariah delivered a special Christmas message, highlighting the Magi's visit to Jesus as a symbol of Christ's inclusive message. He emphasized respectful dialogue, building bridges with people of other faiths, and embodying Christ's love.


Scholars shared inspiring experiences, personal stories, and achievements made possible through Rapid Charity. They expressed heartfelt gratitude to RAPID's CEO/President and team.


Rev. Dr. Khushnud Azariah, CEO/President of Rapid Charity, emphasized the importance of unity, inspired by Jesus' Priestly Prayer. She highlighted the need to listen to marginalized individuals and work towards building an inclusive society.


Prof. Dr. Iram Anjum, Principal of Kinnaird College, congratulated the scholars and praised RAPID's vision. She pledged her full support to RAPID's endeavors.


The event concluded with a lunch, providing students with another opportunity to engage in discussions and exchange ideas.
