We are delighted to share the email of Simon Akhtar, a RAPID Scholarship recipient, who is about to completing his degree at Forman Christian College (A Chartered University), Lahore.
Simon expressed his deep gratitude for the financial and moral support that enabled him to continue his higher education. The RAPID Scholarship not only alleviated his financial burdens but also instilled in him the confidence and determination to excel in his studies. Here we are sharing his email with his consent.
Dear RAPID team,
As I near the completion of my degree at Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) Lahore, I want to take a moment and extend my heartfelt gratitude to RAPID for making this dream come true. The RAPID scholarship didn’t only support me financially but also gave me confidence and courage to pursue my studies with excellence by maintaining a high GPA every semester.
Moreover, it also helped me make the most of my university experience by excelling in co-curricular activities. For instance, I am serving as president of my University's Education Society, leading a team of around 60 individuals, promoting educational excellence and awareness. I've also represented FCCU in the HEC Athletic Championship twice and hosted many major events at FCCU.
Admittedly, without your support, it would have been impossible for me to complete my degree and achieve this excellence. Your support, love, and care that I have received for the past three years have deeply touched my heart, and I can’t wait to replicate this within my community. As an education major, I am eager to contribute to the educational system of Pakistan and work for minority education, after specialization in the same field. I am ready to provide my services as an educationist, teacher trainer, and in planning and social media handling whenever required.
Once again, thank you, Rev. Khushnud Azariah, Ms. Resha Qadir Bakhsh, and the entire RAPID family, for your generosity, love, and support. My academic journey may end at this point, but the impact of your benevolence will stay with me forever, and I will always cherish your matchless contribution towards my academic journey and life goals.
